PAGE ONE EDUCATION™: Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 7, 2026

Welcome to Page One Education™, a subscription-based learning platform offered by Page One Media® ("P1M LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before proceeding.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and P1M LLC. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.

1. About the Platform
Page One Education™ is an online subscription platform providing educational content, expert instruction, community forums, live Q&A sessions, and resources designed to help authors navigate the publishing industry, develop their audiences, and grow their careers. The platform is operated by P1M LLC and delivered through our HubSpot-integrated system.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration
To access Page One Education™, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• Agree to auto renew your subscription monthly, you may cancel at any time

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. P1M LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

3.1 Subscription Tiers
Page One Education™ offers the following monthly subscription plans:

• Draft — $99/month: Entry-level access to core educational content and community

• Proof — $399/month: Expanded access including additional small group Q&A sessions

• First Edition — $799/month: Full platform access including monthly 1:1 phone calls with an expert

3.2 Billing and Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize P1M LLC to charge the payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as described in Section 3.4.

3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the "billing" page: www.page1m.com/billing or by contacting us at hello@page1m.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the platform through the end of the paid period.

3.4 Refunds
P1M LLC does not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. In the event of a billing error or unauthorized charge, please contact us at hello@page1m.comwithin 30 days and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

3.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price changes via email to your registered address. Continued use of the platform after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership of Platform Content
All content on the Page One Education™ platform — including but not limited to written materials, video recordings, audio content, worksheets, templates, guides, presentations, Q&A session recordings, and any other educational resources ("Platform Content") — is the sole and exclusive property of P1M LLC or its licensed contributors. All Platform Content is protected by United States and international copyright law.

4.2 License to Use
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Platform Content for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This license does not include any right to resell, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform Content.

4.3 Prohibited Content Uses
The following actions are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of these Terms:

• Downloading, saving, or exporting Platform Content through any method, tool, extension, or software not expressly authorized by P1M LLC

• Taking screenshots, screen recordings, or photographs of any Platform Content, including but not limited to lesson materials, Q&A sessions, video recordings, worksheets, or templates

• Copying, reproducing, or transcribing Platform Content in whole or in part by any means, including manual transcription or copy-and-paste

• Sharing, distributing, forwarding, or transmitting Platform Content — in original or modified form — with any person who is not an active subscriber

• Uploading, posting, or republishing Platform Content on any website, social media platform, email list, podcast, or other distribution channel

• Using Platform Content for commercial purposes, including incorporation into paid products, courses, coaching programs, or services

• Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary notices on Platform Content

While P1M LLC employs technical measures to limit unauthorized downloading and reproduction, the absence of such restrictions does not grant permission. All access to Platform Content is governed solely by these Terms.

4.4 Reporting Unauthorized Use
If you become aware of any unauthorized use or reproduction of Platform Content, please notify us at hello@page1m.com. We take intellectual property violations seriously and will pursue appropriate legal remedies.

5. Community Standards and Member Conduct
The Page One Education™ community is a space built on respect, professional generosity, and a shared commitment to the success of all authors. Whether participating in discussion forums, live Q&A sessions, video calls, or any other community feature, all members are expected to treat one another with the same dignity and consideration they would wish to receive.

5.1 Core Principles
Our community is guided by the following values:

• Respect: Engage with all members courteously, regardless of experience level, background, publishing path, or genre

• Generosity: Share knowledge and encouragement freely; lift others as you grow

• Integrity: Be honest in your contributions and respectful of diverse perspectives and publishing journeys

• Privacy: Honor the confidence others place in this community by keeping shared information within the platform

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

• The following conduct is prohibited in all community spaces, including but not limited to discussion forums, live sessions, video calls, and direct messaging within the platform:

• Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, or discriminatory comments of any kind

• Sharing another member's personal information, circumstances, professional challenges, or questions with anyone outside the platform — whether online or in person

• Posting, sharing, or discussing another member's work, submissions, contracts, rejections, or sales data without that member's explicit written consent

• Promoting or selling products, services, or opportunities without prior written authorization from P1M LLC

• Impersonating another member, industry professional, or P1M LLC representative

• Posting content that is defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or unlawful

5.3 Confidentiality of Community Discussions
What is shared in the Page One Education™ community stays within the community. Members frequently share sensitive professional and personal information — including details about manuscript challenges, publishing deals, financial circumstances, agent and editor relationships, and career setbacks — in a spirit of trust.

Members agree not to:

• Post, share, or reference another member's questions, circumstances, or disclosures in any public online setting, including social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, or public forums

• Discuss another member's shared information in real-world public settings such as conferences, panels, workshops, or networking events

• Screenshot, copy, or share chat logs, forum posts, or any other member-generated content outside the platform

This confidentiality obligation applies to all content shared by other members within the platform and survives the termination of your subscription.

5.4 Video Calls and Live Sessions
Page One Education™ hosts live video sessions, Q&A calls, workshops, and community events. The following rules apply to all live, in-person, and recorded sessions:

• You may not photograph, record, screenshot, or screen-capture any portion of a video call or live session, including participant faces, names, or any content displayed on screen

• You may not post, share, or publish images, screenshots, recordings, or descriptions of other participants from any live session to social media or any public platform

• Recording of any session, by any method including AI notetakers, is strictly prohibited unless P1M LLC explicitly grants written permission

• Participant lists and attendee information from any session are confidential and may not be shared or used for solicitation

P1M LLC may record sessions for the purpose of making replay content available to subscribers. By participating in a session, you acknowledge and consent to being included in recordings produced by P1M LLC for platform use.

6. Member-Generated Content
When you post, submit, or share content within the platform ("Member Content"), you retain ownership of that content. By posting Member Content, you grant P1M LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

You represent and warrant that your Member Content does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party. P1M LLC reserves the right to remove any Member Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

7. Privacy
Your use of Page One Education™ is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

P1M LLC will never sell your personal information to third parties. Information you share with us is used solely to operate, improve, and personalize your experience on the platform.

8. Enforcement and Termination

8.1 Violations
P1M LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate any reported or suspected violation of these Terms. Violations may result in:

• A formal warning

• Temporary suspension of platform access

• Permanent termination of your subscription without refund

• Legal action where warranted, including claims for damages resulting from intellectual property infringement

8.2 Termination by P1M LLC
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have materially breached these Terms. Upon termination, your license to access Platform Content ends immediately and you must cease all use.

8.3 Termination by You
You may terminate your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.3. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that survive termination, including confidentiality obligations and intellectual property restrictions.

Page One Education™ is provided for informational and educational purposes only. While we strive to ensure that our content is accurate, current, and professionally delivered, P1M LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of any Platform Content.

Results in publishing, marketing, and audience development vary widely and depend on factors outside our control. P1M LLC does not guarantee any specific outcome as a result of participation in the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, P1M LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless P1M LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the platform.

12. Modifications to These Terms
P1M LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email to your registered address and/or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, New York, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and P1M LLC regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
